We are looking forward to welcoming our new starters this term and seeing familiar little faces back at pre-school. The new term starts on Tuesday 6th September and we will resume with the sessions as listed on our information page.
We hope all our parents and children had a fantastic summer break. We will be looking at holidays and travel with the children this term, so please send in some pictures with your little one of their recent travels and adventures.
Our Teddy Bears Picnic themed stand was great fun and it was lovely to see so many of our children and their parents.
We raised approximately £540 which we have spent on a new mud kitchen for the children
A whopping £1,100 was raised from our Easter Fundraising activities. We are really grateful for everyone’s support.
The Fashion Show was a great success and the children worked really hard at their fundraising bounces.
We’d love to see you at our upcoming fashion show. It should be a fun night out with a bit of shopping and pampering included. What better way to start the bank holiday weekend!
Doors open at 6:30pm and there will be a variety of stalls including a pamper station from Bonnies Beauty Spot, Younique make-up and a raffle.
We’re still on the look out for models too and would be very grateful for you time.
Tickets priced at £5 are available from Pre-School or message the Pre-School Facebook page.
Committee Members Needed. Come and join us at our Annual General Meeting Tuesday 9th February 2016 at 6.30pm to find out how you can join the committee and to meet the current committee and fundraising team.
Breaston Pre-School Playgroup runs as a committee-led registered charity. It was established in 1968 and since then has relied on volunteer committee members; quite simply without a committee the pre-school would not be able to continue. A few parents have already come forward for some of the roles but if you feel that you can offer any of your skills to the existing committee or would like to stand for a committee position please speak to a member of staff who will pass your details on to the existing committee. All help however small will be appreciated. Creche facility available for those who can’t get a babysitter. Refreshments and nibbles provided.
It would be great if you could let us know if you will be coming along so that we can make sure there are enough biscuits!
