On Wednesday 25th March we will also be holding our annual Easter egg hunt on The Green in Breaston (behind the Co-Op car park). This will start at 1.30pm. Everyone who takes part will need to bring a basket to collect with. At the end we share all the eggs out fairly so everybody gets some. It is important that you arrive on time because it will start at 1.30pm PROMPT otherwise all the eggs will be gone!
Every year we hold an Easter service at St Michaels Church. This year it will be held on Tuesday 24th March at 10.30am. All the Tuesday morning session children will attend the service in our care, all our children are welcome to attend the service but remain the responsibility of the adult they come along with. In previous years the children have decorated an Easter Bonnet at home with their family (available to buy from many craft and high street stores). The children will be getting ready for the service and we do an Easter Bonnet Parade in the yard before we walk over to the church. All children; whether in session or not are welcome to take part in the parade, you will just need to arrive at preschool beforehand at around 10.10am and then escort your child over to the church afterwards. In church they can all join in on our songs. Siblings are also welcome to come along with you to the service (and wear a hat too if they like). After the service there will be Tea, Coffee and Cake available back at preschool. You are welcome to take photographs and videos of the children during either of these.
